Pricing questions, answered plain

Is there a minimum order?
No. A half-cask is a perfectly respectable order and we have customers who buy exactly one, twice a year, and have done for a decade. Volume gets you a better rate; it does not get you through the door.
Can I change tier mid-season?
Upward, any time, and the new rate applies to the next order. Downward at the season boundary. If you sized up for a big charter that fell through, tell the counting house — we have never held anyone to a tier they did not need.
What exactly does the spoilage guarantee cover?
Any sealed cask that turns before its stamped date, on every tier including Deckhand. Replacement is carriage paid to your port. It does not cover casks broached and left open, or stowage above the waterline in the tropics — both of which are in the stowage note that ships with every pallet.
Do you charge for the manifest and excise filing?
Not on Quartermaster and up — it is part of the tier. On Deckhand we will do it for a flat £3 the sailing if you ask, which most one-hull customers find cheaper than the afternoon it would otherwise cost them.

Not sure which tier fits?

Tell us how many hulls you sail and where they go. We will point you at the tier that costs you least, even when that is a smaller one than you asked about.
